she
likes to hear stories told again & again
why
she took her bowl from my house to her house for a little while
that today she brought it back
she
tells me the story in her words
she asks me to tell the same story in my words
we
say “that’s right” to each other
then
she says “why?”
& I say “why not?”
& she says “why
yes!”
